Events & Festivals for 2008

Our events are very popular with old and new customers. Everyone enjoys an afternoon with family and friends in a beautiful country setting. All events are wheelchair accessible.

Mother's Day Brunch
Sunday May 11th, 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
  • Live music by classical guitarist Enrique
Treat Mom to a buffet under the tents beside the farm stand.
$25 per adult, $10 for children 2 - 10 years old.
Reservations required by May 9th

Asparagus Festival
Saturday May 24th, 11 am

Steve Verrill leads trip to asparagus field at 11 am followed by a buffet lunch featuring dishes prepared with asparagus in the farm stand kitchen. Chef Kevin offers tips on asparagus preparation.
$25 per person includes a bunch of fresh Verrill Farm asparagus.
Reservations and prepayment required.

Crisps, Cobblers & Crostatas with Jennifer Verrill
Wednesday June 18th, 6:30 - 8:30

Jennifer leads a hands on class using seasonal fruits and berries in desserts.
$30 per person. Reservations and prepayment required.

Strawberry Festival
Saturday June 21st, noon - 4 pm

Celebrate local strawberries at the peak of the season. Food available a la carte features home made Strawberry Short Cake prepared in the farm stand kitchen.

Blueberry Pancake Breakfast
Saturday July 19, 9 am - noon

Blueberry pancakes, Massachusetts made maple syrup, bacon or sausage, juice, milk or coffee.
$6.50 per person. Reservations are not necessary.

Corn and Tomato Festival
Sample Verrill Farm grown heirloom and hybrid tomatoes and corn. Tastings of corn and tomato dishes prepared in the farm stand kitchen.
$8 per person. $4 for kids under 12.

Harvest Festival and Benefit for Pediatric Care at Emerson Hospital
Saturday October 11, noon - 4 pm Concord Festival of Authors

Verrill Farm joins this popular event as a venue. Meet cookbook authors Clara Silverstein, Kathy Walthers and Lisa Zwirn and chefs Peter Davis from Henrietta's Table and Steve Johnson from Rendezvous. Books available for sale & signing. Food tastings.

Includes tips from farm stand chefs, house and decorations.
$35 per person. Reservations and prepayment required.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult comes at no additional charge.

Wednesday December 10, 7 pm
A special evening class for adults. Enjoy hors d'oeuvre while decorating a house.

$40 per person. Reservation and prepayment required.
