Fund Raising Events
We appreciate your thoughtfulness. Following is a list of events which were held in the Fall. Our apologies for any omissions.

Culinary Guild of New England Silent Auction
- Saturday, November 22 at 7:30 pm
The Emerson Orchestra with David Wayne Bailey, conductor, presents a benefit concert at Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street, Concord.
Tickets available at Nine Acre Corners, Concord Provisions and Debra's Natural Gourmet.
$20. for adults, $10. for seniors & students. Information at 978.369.3769 The concert is a benefit for Emerson Hospital and Verrill Farm. Verrill Farm is donating its portion of the proceeds to Emerson Hospital in lieu of funds which would have been raised at the Annual Harvest Festival and Benefit for the Pediatric Care Unit. The event, scheduled for October 11, was canceled this year following the fire.

Many businesses & individuals have been donating breakfast or lunch for the farm stand staff since the fire. Those who are interested in making the donation of a meal for the staff, please call Stephanie Stillman, Executive Director, Concord Chamber of Commerce, who is coordinating the schedule. - Loweco Polar Fleece Clothing
Betsy Lowe of Loweco will donate some of the proceeds from her December Barn Boutique Show to the Farmstand Fund.

Musical group Two for the Show, which regularly performs at Verrill Farm events, is arranging a benefit of musicians. Proceeds will go to the Farmstand Fund.

Acton Oktobertfest
The Acton Farmers Market group is setting up a raffle at the Oktoberfest.
Many of you have asked how you can help. One important way is to shop at our temporary stand which supports both the farm and our employees.
And, for those of you who would like to contribute to the rebuilding of the stand, we have set up a special account, the Verrill Farmstand Fund, at the Middlesex Savings Bank, 1208 Main Street, West Concord, MA 01742.
