Perfect for families, the buffet offers an abundance of flavorful food choices and a casual outdoor setting where adults can relax and enjoy their meal while kids play in fields beside the tents after eating. Brunch buffet includes:
  • Omelet Station - made to order with your choice of fillings
  • Pancakes with Massachusetts maple syrup
  • Ham, home fries, green salad, & fresh fruit salad

Asparagus Field Trip and Lunch

Verrill Farm's first crop of the season is a reminder of buying local: flavor, freshness and supporting local agriculture. On the field trip, Steve will talk about growing and harvesting the crop and encourage everyone to pick a few stalks before heading back to the stand for lunch.

11:00 am - Join Steve on a tour of the asparagus field
12:00 pm - Lunch is served under tents beside the farm stand

  • a buffet inspired by the crop, prepared in the stand kitchen, includes dessert and beverage
  • a demo and tips on preparing and cooking asparagus with Chef Kevin Carey

Annual Harvest Festival & Benefit for Emerson Hospital's Pediatric Care Unit

Fields surrounding the farm stand are transformed into an old-fashioned fair ground.
This fun for all ages benefit event includes:
  • Activities & games
  • Raffle
  • Food
Proceeds from activity, game & raffle tickets, as well as food purchases, go to Emerson Hospital's Pediatric Intervention Team to provide Coping Kits for children at the hospital. The kits contain items & activities that are used to help children & caregivers cope successfully with the hospital experience.

The heated greenhouse will be decorated with greens, poinsettias & lights - a perfect backdrop for Santa's annual visit!

These popular workshops are fun for all ages Farm stand bakers are on hand with decorating tips or just let your imagination take over!

$35.00 fee includes:
  • assembled, undecorated gingerbread house on a 12" cardboard
  • frosting (gingerbread and frosting made in the farm stand kitchen)
  • candy for trim
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult comes at no additional charge. Please, only one adult per child.

Holiday Wreath Workshop
