April School Vacation Cooking Classes

Baking with the Pros!  SOLD OUT
Learn how to make Dirty Cupcakes with Worms & other tasty treats!

Thursday, April 24, 3 - 4:30 pm Grades 4 - 6
Cooking with Kevin
Take a culinary trip south of the border. The menu includes Burritos, Quesadillas and Mexican Pizza.

These classes get high marks from both parents and kids because they are hands on, grouped by age to keep skill levels appropriate and they're fun! Each class takes place in the farm stand kitchen and lasts 1 1/2 hours.

$25.00 per child. Reservations & prepayment required.

Mother's Day Brunch
  • Mother's Day Brunch Buffet served outside under tents beside the farm stand

Asparagus Field Trip & Lunch

This annual event features the first local crop of the season & includes
  • a tour of the asparagus field with Steve Verrill
  • an asparagus themed lunch prepared by our chefs & served outside under tents beside the stand
  • tips on cooking asparagus & a demo by Chef Kevin Carey
  • $25.00 per person

  • Join Steve Verrill & the farm crew for an early morning, hands-on experience

Corn & Tomato Festival
  • Tastings & Samples: $8.50 for adults. $4.50 for kids under 10
       - Taste 30+ varieties of tomatoes & 6+ varieties of corn grown at Verrill Farm

Gingerbread House Workshops

December 6, 9:30 & 11:30 am

Our popular, fun workshops for all ages. Farm stand bakers are on hand with decorating tips - you do the rest!

$35.00 fee includes:
  • assembled, undecorated gingerbread house on a 12" cardboard
  • frosting (gingerbread and frosting made in the farm stand kitchen)
  • candy for trim
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult comes at no additional charge. Please, only one adult per child.

Reservations & prepayment required. These classes fill up quickly so we recommend calling early! To sign up, call 978.369.4494.
