Pancake Breakfast

Stop by the heated greenhouse for a hearty breakfast of pancakes, Massachusetts maple syrup, bacon or sausage, juice and milk or coffee.
  • Every one who comes to the breakfast is entered in a drawing for a Verrill Farm BBQ Dinner for 2.
  • $8.00 per adult, $4.50 for kids under 10.

Gardening with Steve Verrill

In this popular class, Steve shares the fundamentals of gardening mixed with tips gleaned from years of experience. Good for new & perennial gardeners alike. The class is interactive & questions are encouraged! Takes place in the farm stand greenhouse.

Class includes:
  • Coupon for 20% off Verrill Farm seedlings sold in individual pots available Mid May to early June. Put class tips to work!
  • Coffee & muffins from the stand kitchen

This annual event features the first local crop of the season & includes
11 am - tour of the asparagus field with Steve Verrill

Annual Harvest Festival & Benefit for Emerson Hospital's Pediatric Care Unit

Fields surrounding the farm stand are transformed into an old-fashioned fair ground.
This fun for all ages benefit event includes:
  • Activities & games
  • Raffle
  • Food
Proceeds from activity, game & raffle tickets, as well as food purchases, go to Emerson Hospital's Pediatric Intervention Team to provide Coping Kits for children at the hospital. The kits contain items & activities that are used to help children & caregivers cope successfully with the hospital experience.

These popular workshops are fun for all ages Farm stand bakers are on hand with decorating tips or just let your imagination take over!

$35.00 fee includes:
  • assembled, undecorated gingerbread house on a 12" cardboard
  • frosting (gingerbread and frosting made in the farm stand kitchen)
  • candy for trim
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult comes at no additional charge. Please, only one adult per child.

Holiday Wreath Workshop
