The Emerson Hospital Harvest Festival, originally scheduled for Oct. 3 has been postponed until Oct. 17, due to wet and windy weather forecasts. Same fun day for your family will be held then. Come to support your local hospital and the Pediatric Coping Kit program.

9th Annual Harvest Festival & Benefit for Emerson Hospital

Fields surrounding the farm stand are transformed into an old-fashioned fair ground for this annual benefit. Proceeds go to Emerson Hospital's Pediatric Intervention Unit to create & distribute age appropriate Coping Kits to all children entering the hospital.

From tasty gifts to party hors d'oeuvres and an old-fashioned mixer to add to your favorite seltzer or spirit - we've got the holidays covered in our three November classes.

All classes take place in the farm stand kitchen.
6 - 8 pm. $35.00 per person.

Wednesday, November 4

This hands-on class that will feature the colorful French delicacy known as a Macaron.
Students will make a selection of seasonal flavors and everyone leaves with samples!
Plan for the holidays! Macarons make a very special dessert and a colorful gift!

Holiday hors d'oeuvres

Chef Kevin Carey's class will include making 4 -5 hors d'oeuvres - perfect for holiday season entertaining! Tastings & recipes included!

Shrubs & Snacks

What is a shrub? An old-fashioned vinegar based syrup that can be mixed with seltzer or spirits for a unique and refreshing beverage. Homemade crackers are the perfect accompaniment to a shrub. You will learn how to make 2 kinds of crackers and sample them with homemade dips.

  • Santa returns for his annual visit in our heated, decorated greenhouse
  • Bring a list & take a picture with Santa
  • Complimentary cider & Cookies
  • Performances by young musicians from the Concord Conservatory of Music
Gingerbread House Workshops
December 5, 9:30 & 11:30 am
December 6 & 12, 9:30 & 11:30 am & 1:30 pm
December 8, 4:00 pm

These popular workshops are fun for all ages Farm stand bakers are on hand with decorating tips or just let your imagination take over! $35.00 fee includes:
  • assembled, undecorated gingerbread house on a 12" cardboard
  • frosting (gingerbread and frosting made in the farm stand kitchen)
  • candy for trim
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult comes at no additional charge. Please, only one adult per child.
  • Reservations required. These classes fill up quickly so we recommend calling early!
