Homemade Baked Goods Made Daily from Scratch
Our bakery has grown a lot since 1992 when we first started baking homemade pies and selling them out of a roadside tent. Although the current farm stand offers a few more amenities than the original tent did, our commitment to the best ingredients & baked goods always made from scratch remains exactly the same! Our professional staff of bakers and chefs create delicious homemade muffins, scones, pies, cakes and desserts daily, any of which can be ordered ahead. Our homemade pies are a favorite with customers and come in a variety of seasonal combinations, such as strawberry-rhubarb, plum-strawberry, peach-raspberry, and nectarine-blueberry. In the winter months apple pie is always available, as well as pecan and Kentucky-bourbon pecan pies. Additional selections from our pastry case include éclairs, assorted mousse cakes, specialty bars, cupcakes & cakes for any occasion!

The Verrill Farm bakery is open seven days per week all year long with the exception of a few holidays. The farm bakery began supplying the Greater Boston area with delicious fruit pies in 1992. Famous Homemade Pies
Our pies are made from scratch daily and feature our famous buttery crust. Our homemade pie varieties change with the seasons. You can find strawberry rhubarb in the spring & summer followed by summer fruits including blueberries & apple varieties in the late summer & fall and pumpkin during the fall & winter months. Crostatas
A tasty alternative to our traditional pies, featuring the same buttery crust in a free form tart. Varieties include blueberry-cranberry, apple-apricot and pear-ginger in the fall & winter. Summer varieties feature blueberry, nectarine, raspberry, plum & rhubarb.
Poundcakes & Teabreads
Baked daily, our tea breads and poundcakes are sure to please. Customer favorites include chocolate rum, blueberry lemon, raspberry and banana - with and without chocolate & walnuts. Great for any time of day!
Cookies
Baked fresh daily. Varieties include chocolate chip, M&M, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, molasses and trail mix. Many other seasonal cookies are offered including coconut macaroons, biscotti and our famous "Amy Verrill ginger cookies"!
Specialty Cakes
"A party without cake is really just a meeting" - Julia Child. Enjoy one of our delicious cakes available daily in our bakery case, or place an order ahead for your special occasion!
Brownies & Specialty Bars
We offer a wide range of fresh baked chocolate brownies and other delicious variations. Try one of our homemade lemon squares during your next trip through the bakery!
Classic Cakes
All of our cake designs are available in yellow or chocolate cake with vanilla or chocolate frosting. Single or double layer cake options are available. See some of our custom cake designs below.
Cupcakes
A smaller version of our delicious cakes. Cupcakes are available in a variety of flavor combinations and can be custom decorated for any special occasion or event!
